Elementary Students Read and Learn About Central America

Anne Gilmore, ESL/Bilingual teacher at Roosevelt Elementary School in Harvard, had students take a quiz on Central America, which they used to learn about the region along the way.

Gilmore also read several books about Central America. Students particularly enjoyed reading and participating in the activities that accompany the book Sopa de frijoles / Bean Soup: A Cooking Poem.
