Alexis N. Meza

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, CAL POLY PAMONA

Alexis N. Meza (she/her) is an assistant professor of Ethnic and Women’s Studies at California State Polytechnic University Pomona and a visiting scholar at New York University. She is a historian of transnational and relational Central American and Latina/o Studies and her scholarship has been published by Feminist Formations, Latino Studies, and Migrant Roots Media among others. She is Salvadoran and Chicana, a member of the Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador, and active in movements to defend immigrant rights.
